GOOD NEWS!!! The U.S. Presidential election is over! And while that is good news in and of itself, I want to focus on something else. Regardless of who won – I absolutely refused to follow the election results last night and so I still don’t know who won – it’s important to realize the sun will still rise. The moon will still set. The stars will still rotate around this vast and great Milky Way. Nature has no interest in politics. Nature could care less about ideology. Nature has no interest in how divided or unified human beings are. Nature just continues to just be. It’s very important to remember that. Nature just is. It continues on. And so should we. Regardless of how happy or sad or angry or elated we are about the election results, we should really take a moment, breathe, and just be. I hope this video will help us all in finding that place of center, that place of calm, that place of peace. And just be. Have a great Wednesday, everybody!

Today’s BEST. THING. EVER!!!

Today’s BEST. THING. EVER!!!  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: This page is apolitical.  In fact, all my social media sites and web pages are apolitical.  There are deeper things I concern myself with as far as what I put out on the internet than the politics of the day.  That being said, I thought this article was REALLY appropriate for what will be happening today.  When Pandora’s box was opened, all the evils of the world escaped.  And when it was finally closed again, only HOPE remained at the bottom of the box.  Regardless of your political affiliations, political leanings or if you’re an American how you will or won’t vote today, regardless of the outcome of today let’s make a pact to focus on hope.  Because at the end of the day it’s all we have.  Check it out:

Today’s BEST. THING. EVER!!!

Today’s BEST. THING. EVER!!!  I post a lot about homelessness in my GOOD NEWS! and BEST. THING. EVER!!! articles.  It’s an issue that hits close to home because I spent a year homeless in New York City.  But it wasn’t until today when I was searching for an article for today’s post that I realized how big of a need hygiene materials are needed and necessary for homeless people.  Specifically sanitary napkins, tampons, pads and other such things women specifically need.  It never even occurred to me these things would be in short supply at homeless shelters.  Maybe it’s because I’m a man and having to experience a period without the aid of sanitary napkins has never really crossed my mind.  Again that is, until today.  Well here’s an article about one woman’s crusade to make sure every homeless woman has tampons, pads and whatever else she needs during that time of the month.  And her crusade has turned into a world-wide phenomenon.  Inside the article is also how you can help.  So if you feel moved to help, I encourage you to do so.  Take a look:

It’s Good To Remember…

This isn’t a GOOD NEWS! or a BEST. THING. EVER!!!  But it’s good to be reminded of the people of Flint, Michigan who are still suffering even though national and international news have moved on to the next hot news story.  Here’s a look at Flint, one year later.  Check it out:

Monday Morning Meditation Ep. 36: Hearing – Headphones

Good Morning Meditators! We handle a bit of business to kick off the show – is up and running, I’ll be at the December Spirit Mind and Body Expo presented by OPERA on December 10th and 11th, and I want to travel the world doing meditation classes and psychic readings (have passport will travel) –  and then we get into the gravy of the episode.  Today we talk about my most recent surgery (2016 – the year of surgeries!) to put a tube in my left ear. We talk about the metaphysical properties of physical ailments and how there may be a connection between the two (research and come to your own conclusions).  And we talk about how this most recent surgery inspired a new series of meditations on the senses.  I have NO CLUE how I’ll incorporate smell and taste into the conversation, so I’m asking you to help me out with ideas for those meditations.  We’ll start out this week with hearing, next week will be sight followed by touch, smell and taste in the last three weeks.  Then we get into the meditation itself.

I’d love to hear from you. You can contact me directly at  Or you can contact me and other meditators on:

Facebook @ MondayMorningMeditationPodcast.

On twitter and KIK @M2MeditationPod.  That’s M, the number 2 MeditationPod.

In addition to being a meditator I’m also a tarot card reader and spiritual advisor.  If you’d like insight into what your future may bring, I encourage you to book a session with me.  You can find me on the web at

Today’s BEST. THING. EVER!!!

Today’s BEST. THING. EVER!!!  This barbershop gives two dollars back to kids who read while they’re getting their hair cut.  I love it!  Plus it gives the love of reading to kids when they need it most.  And to boot the books these kids are reading are FILLED with POSITIVE images of African-American men and women.  People they can aspire to be like when they grow up.  Kudos all around to this barbershop!  Check ’em out:

Today’s BEST. THING. EVER!!!

Today’s BEST. THING. EVER!!!  So on Monday’s podcast I talked about wanting to find a boyfriend.  And how I have had to have the patience of a saint to find a boyfriend.  And a bookcase.  (I still haven’t found either btw, which only adds fuel to my impatient fire.)  Well this video proves I’ve been going about it all wrong!  What I need to do is have surgery, (a little nip and tuck never hurt anybody) get high on the good shit (anesthesia) and hit on hot nurses!  That’s the key to my eternal happiness!  Thank you Luke!  And HELLOOOOOO NURSE!!!  YOWSA!!!

Today’s BEST. THING. EVER!!!

Today’s BEST. THING. EVER!!!  I love this clip because it’s pure unadulterated joy.  You know, if I had a choice of dream jobs it would be a game show host for either the Price is Right or Let’s Make A Deal.  Because the people they have in the audience are truly joy personified.  And this clip is proof positive of it.  Take a look:
